Communications and Media

Contemporary Art

Network with art dealers, brokers, gallery owners and curators who shape contemporary art. From emerging artist studios in Brooklyn to world-class institutions like the Whitney Museum, you'll experience every level of the art world. 

New York Theatre

This year-long program partners with a professional theatre company to help you create an original piece to perform at Drew. Experience every aspect of theatrical production while working alongside industry professionals to bring your creative vision to life. 

United Nations

Go behind the scenes at United Nations (UN) Headquarters to learn how international policy is made. Engage with the complex issues reshaping our world through direct access to UN operations and decision-makers. 

Museums and Cultural Management

Visit renowned museums weekly to meet staff and explore career pathways in cultural management. From planning exhibits to running museums, explore the many careers that keep New York City’s cultural scene alive. 

Social Impact

Fall semester programs have application deadlines of March 10th, while spring semester programs are due October 1st. The New York Theatre program is a full-year commitment offered in alternate years.

All New York City Semester programs offer between 4-8 credits and fulfill your LAUNCH experience requirement.

You'll continue living on Drew's campus in Madison and commute into New York City for your program activities. This gives you the best of both worlds, a college home base with big city professional experience.

The New York City Semester programs are included in your regular Drew tuition. You'll only need to budget for transportation costs between campus and New York City.
